AN UNFLINCHING account in meticulous detail of the formation and
global expansion of the Hell's Angels criminal empire. The subject
seems to be an obsession with the two journalist authors; this
is their second book on the gang. They convincingly portray the
Angels as a highly organised crime operation on a par with the
mafia and triads, and comprehensively dismiss as ludicrous the
bikers' claim that it's a motorcycle enthusiasts' club tainted
by a few bad apples in its ranks. A frightening expose.
